Some say they have always wanted to do one thing and one thing only. They study, go to college, get hired in their field and stay in that field throughout their careers. Seems simple enough - most people can describe what they do or who they are in one sentence:

• I am an improvisational comedian.
• I am a writer & director.
• I am a management trainer making a difference in the business community.
• I am married to my soul mate, partner and best friend.
• I am the mother of two incredibly fantastic children, who are also my best friends.
• I am a woman and happy about it.
• I am all of these things.

Fitting into a slot has never been something I've been very good at. What I am good at, is meeting the challenges of life in a creative, joyous and committed fashion. As you read my biography keep in mind that no matter what company I have worked for or project developed, no matter what the job description, my life has always been about creation. Whether I am creating a new play, creating a new marketing campaign, creating a new company or creating a computer program - everything I have ever aspired or dreamed about has always been about the creative process. My life has been dedicated to being free to be and do all that I dream of being.

Throughout my life, I have lived by this philosophy - to open my mind and dream! I believe it is up to us to decide whether or not we will choose to be free, really free. We are limitless, if we choose that! Our freedom in life and relationships come from letting go. Freedom means empowerment to be, do, go, feel, whatever our heart tells us. We are the only ones who our own freedom. We are responsible for what we choose in life. We must grab it and wake up to our own Selves!

Be present! Delight in each moment! In life, be like pigs in mud…..wallow in life like it's heavenly mud!!

My favorite quotation comes from an ancient philosopher named Goethe:

"The moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. What ever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now."

Biography

A native of California, Ms. Mann received her M.A. from San Francisco State University and has a 30-year professional career in the Entertainment Industry as a performer, writer, acting coach and casting director. While in Los Angeles, she participated in running one of the larger casting facilities in Hollywood, Performing Arts Corporation (P.A.C.), holding casting sessions for national commercials, soaps and films.

From 1986-1988 Ricci was the Agency Director for Act 1 Talent in Tampa, Florida. In 1988, she established with her husband their own casting company, Victorio & Mann Entertainment Productions, casting a variety of projects ranging from feature films, equity productions and television commercials.

Her teaching credits include faculty memberships at The Drama Studio of London in Berkeley; University of South Florida, The Actor's Workshop, LA & NY; Performing Arts Corporation, LA; and The Mime Workshop, SF.

As an actress, Ricci has been featured on Disney's "You and Me, Kid", HBO's "Hincus Pincus", over 30 commercials and 14 years of improvisational comedy with her husband as the comedy team of Victorio and Mann. Ricci's writing credits include 70 teleplays for The Disney Channel's "You and Me, Kid".

Ricci is Vice-President and Partner with The Rawls Group / Family Business Resource Center where she is trains corporate leaders and management teams how to deal with change, strategic planning & visioning, communication enhancement, creative problem solving and leadership skills. A corporate motivational trainer and speaker in communication and creativity techniques providing programs to Fortune 500 Companies and private institutions since 1980, Ricci presents her programs with quick-witted quips, audience participation and comedic illustrations that effect team performance within the workplace.
